Blue Mountains Pet Resort is a fully approved animal resort located in Blackheath in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney. We look after all most pets and our main site is found at www.bluemountainspetresort.com.au.
We have a lovely farmyard for your chickens with lots of hay, straw, lucerne and sunshine. The farmyard is located directly behind our office so we can keep a watchful eye on it. We're one of the few animal establishments that can board chickens. We also board roosters and ducks too. The enclosures are fully fenced to 2 metres high with secure fencing and your chickens will be safe in our care.
Each chicken family will have their own enclosure and we don't mix chicken families This stops any pecking from happening between families. The enclosures are spacious and your chickens will feel right at home.. Roosters are housed separately from chickens
The chickens will eat pellets, seeds, corn and lovely home treats. the chickens must be wormed and be parasite free while they are staying with us.
Other pocket pets such as guinea pigs and bunnies are able to be looked after.
We support Blue Mountains City Council's Animal Management Policies for responsible pet ownership and
we encourage pet owners to seek proper supervision for
their pets in a Council approved Boarding Facility such as ours while they are away. Your Boarding provider should have, on
display, an Animal Establishment Certtificate issued by your local council, always ask to see this certificate.
